The versatility of this round ensures officers can maintain control without resorting to deadly force, fostering safer outcomes for all parties.
A Targeted Intervention
The SIP round is highly accurate at distances of 20 meters and beyond, with controlled kinetic energy and velocity throughout its effective range. The 12-gauge round incorporates a polyester nylon projectile, containing a frangible steel shot-filled rubber body. Unlike traditional bean bag rounds, the projectile also has stabilising tails to assist with accuracy.
