Safer than Bean Bag Rounds
Designed to incapacitate rather than cause fatal injury, the 12 gauge Stabilised Impact Projectile round has been designed as a safer alternative to bean bag rounds, reducing the risk of permanent harm while effectively subduing suspects to diffuse dangerous situations. The versatility of this round ensures officers can maintain control without resorting to deadly force, fostering safer outcomes for all parties.
A Targeted Intervention
The SIP round is highly accurate at distances of 20 meters and beyond, with controlled kinetic energy and velocity throughout its effective range. The 12-gauge round incorporates a polyester nylon projectile, containing a frangible steel shot-filled rubber body. Unlike traditional bean bag rounds, the projectile also has stabilising tails to assist with accuracy.
