The Explosives Regulations 2014, L150 Safety Provisions & L151 Security Provisions came into force on 1 October 2014, and therefore the Approved Code of Practice Manufacture and Storage of Explosives Regulations (MSER) 2005 and HELA Regulations have been superseded.

The differences are that some of the exemptions extended to the UK Police Forces under the MSER regulations are now no longer extant and this will require Forces to review their current arrangements to comply with The Explosives Regulations 2014.
